Kevin O’Leary from Shark Tank (aka Mr. Wonderful) is currently crashing out online after backlash for building the world’s largest data center in Utah.
This story is still unfolding.
We’ll break it all down for you next week.
But for now, let’s talk water usage, ethical AI, and slop content.

We give hot takes, real context, and zero fluff. AI synthesized, human approved.

Where’s the water?
Pennsylvania just advanced a bill requiring AI data centers to publicly report how much water they use.
This is no doubt a response to the $14M data center that was approved to use up to 40% of a Pennsylvania town’s excess water supply — about 400,000 gallons per day, or enough for 2,300 homes.
And in Georgia, residents complained about low water pressure before discovering a nearby AI data center had secretly used 29 million gallons over 15 months.
Wild idea: if your facility uses millions of gallons of water, the public should know about it.
Transparency is all we’re asking for.
And we love to see the people of Pennsylvania demanding transparency.
Rep the mission
A hat, but it actually stands for something.
Corduroy. Clean. Easy to wear.
The Earth patch makes a statement.
Profits fund clean energy and climate projects.
Claude meets Colossus
Anthropic built Claude to be an ethical AI.
Anthropic was founded by former OpenAI employees who left over concerns about AI safety and the company’s shift from non-profit to for-profit structure (we wrote about this last week).
Another ethics example: the U.S. government reportedly asked Anthropic to surveil users. Anthropic said no. The government didn’t take it well.
But this new twist changes things…
Anthropic Claude is growing so fast they need more compute. So they partnered with Elon Musk’s xAI data center called Colossus.
Here’s the twist: Colossus is the exact data center we’ve been talking about that’s powered by methane gas turbines without Clean Air Act permits and causing major pollution concerns in a majority-Black neighborhood.

Once again, we’re seeing AI leaders consistently choose profit over planet.

AI slop melting our brains
You’ve seen the slop.
Fruit Love Island
Cats playing piano
Shrimp Jesus
It’s funny for 3 seconds.
Then you remember AI generated images and video:
Require 12-20 times more energy and
Massive amounts of water
All for content nobody asked for
We believe AI can help solve real problems.
But using it to flood the internet with garbage?
That’s not innovation.
That’s pollution with a prompt.
So here’s the plan… stop feeding the machine. Don’t like, share, or engage with AI slop. The algorithm can’t spread what we refuse to reward.
